Dads at the Park

April 20 | Meadowbrook Park

Dads at Resurrection, want a relaxed Saturday morning with your kids and fellow dads? Join us for Dads in the Park on April 20 from 9 to 11 am at Meadowbrook Park. We’ll kick things off with coffee, donuts, and a brief moment of prayer, creating space for connection before heading out to enjoy the park together. Whether you prefer a stroll with the stroller, playtime on the playground, or kicking a ball around with other dads and their kids, there’s something for everyone. It’s a perfect opportunity to get some fresh air, quality time with your children, and build relationships with other dads from Resurrection.

Do Unto Others - Kindness Campaign 2024

Do Unto Others is a grassroots movement launched by Resurrection, a United Methodist Church, to encourage people to be intentional about treating one another with kindness, even those with whom we disagree.

Our individual actions matter. When we choose kindness during moments of disagreement, we create ripples of respect that change relationships and entire communities.

College Bible Study

We are excited to announce a brand-new Bible study taking place on Tuesday, April 16 and 23 in the Wesley Chapel for college students taking place at Resurrection Leawood and Online. This three-week study dives deep into Christianity’s toughest questions, fostering meaningful discussions and a supportive community. The class starts at 7 pm and there’s a free pizza dinner at 6:30 for those who are able to attend in person. So, if you’re a college student seeking to grow in your faith or you know of a college student who might be interested, we encourage you to find out more and register at the button below.

Rummage Sale Volunteer Sign-Up

The annual Resurrection Rummage sale hosted by our United Women in Faith is just around the corner and we are looking for volunteers to help make it a success. The sale is June 13 and 14, but we are recruiting volunteers for June 9 – 15. There are a variety of different opportunities available for you to serve, and it’s a great way for your small group to serve together as well. Click the button below to sign up.

Vacation Bible Camp - The Jesus Tour

Mark your calendars for July 15 – 19 and get ready for “The Jesus Tour,” Vacation Bible Camp’s exciting adventure for kids currently in kindergarten through 5th grade! At VBC, we’ll be exploring Jesus’ message of kindness, respect, compassion, and humility through fun activities, crafts, games, and music. Registration is now open! Secure your spot for in-person camp for just $45. There is also an opportunity to participate in VBC online. And, to make this a week to remember, we need your help.
